This is the flower that Bella ate.This is the flower that takes 3 months to ripen,
swelling and pregnant,
all teasing aside.
Opening slowly,
till fullness round midnight.
Calling the neighbors 'cause they can't believe,
the beauty in hand that blooms once a year!
Fading so swiftly, and gone the next day.
This is the flower that Bella ate...before it bloomed this year :-(
